We have learned to anticipate what you will need to create a great adventure on the Muskrat River.

River Tubes are the bare essential requirement. We have a large rental fleet of deluxe river tubes specifically designed to traverse shallow rocky rivers. We experimented with many styles and sizes of tube. Feedback from people that have river tubed all over the world, confirm that they like our tubes better than the rest. All our tubes feature full bottoms and high backrests. May $22, June $25, July-August $29. September-October $25

Paddles  are strongly recommended. If you have a kayak style paddle at home, you should definitely bring it with you.  The purpose of the paddle is not always to travel faster down stream. The current will take you downstream to the exit point without paddling. Paddles simply let you manoeuvre around objects or to keep closer to friends. $3

Life Jackets (PFD) are not mandatory but are highly recommended. You can bring your pfds from home. PFDs keep you buoyant if you exit your tube involuntarily or on purpose.  All children should wear them. The best pfd for a child is one that is fitted properly from home. We have very few child sized pfds available. $3

The launch point and your exit point on the river are a 5 minute car ride apart (too far to walk). We have designed a simple method to arrange that your group  and equipment will be at the launch point and your vehicle and your belongings will be at the exit point. 

How:

Lower Run: We offer a simple service just prior to your river tubing. You choose a driver from your group. Your driver will take the vehicle in a convoy with all the other drivers on the 8 minute drive to the parking lot at the exit point. This 3.7 km route follows the same route as your river route. Once all the drivers have their vehicles parked, they will get into the shuttle vehicles and ride back to the launch point . Now that the drivers know their route and their exit point, they can relax. We try to make the shuttle ride enjoyable with some interesting stories. Your vehicle will be waiting for you when you exit the river. Your towels and everything else you need will be right there in your vehicle. Return your tubes and rental equipment to us and tell us how your trip went.  On the main run you will need to deflate your tubes to return them in your vehicles.

Upper Run: 2 options:

Driver shuttle; (best for groups of 3 or more) Your driver will drive everyone up the road (5 minutes) to the start point on Thrasher Lane following our Tubing Trailer. They drop off all passengers and drive back to the O'Kenny Property and park their car. We shuttle all the drivers back to the start point. Passengers are free to sit in their tubes in the river to wait for their driver to get back. 

Full Shuttle: (this makes sense for groups of 2 or 3) Pay the $7 shuttle fee for everyone in your group and you can leave your vehicle in our parking lot and everyone will be shuttled up to the start point. No waiting for your driver and you can be the first to start your float.
